A tracker, not just a calculator
Most free time-card tools forget everything the moment you close the tab. This one remembers. Fill in your week, hit Save this week, and it joins your history with its own total. Next week, start fresh and save again — your all-time hours, overtime and pay keep climbing. When you need a record for payroll or your own files, export every week to CSV in one click.
How to use it
- Enter each day’s clock-in, clock-out and any unpaid break minutes.
- Add your hourly rate and overtime rule to see pay (optional).
- Hit Save this week — it’s stored on your device.
- Next week, click New / clear week and repeat.
- Watch your running totals grow; export to CSV any time.
Frequently asked questions
How does this work hours tracker save my weeks?
Each week you save is stored privately in your own browser (localStorage) — no account, no upload. Come back any time and your saved weeks are still here, with running totals for hours, overtime and pay across every week.
Is my data private?
Yes. Everything stays on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, and there is no sign-up, email or login. Clearing your browser data will remove your saved weeks, so export to CSV if you want a permanent copy.
Can I track overtime?
Yes. Set your weekly overtime threshold (40 hours by default) and multiplier (1.5× by default). Each saved week splits regular vs overtime hours and, if you add your rate, computes regular pay, overtime pay and gross.
Can I export my hours for payroll?
Yes — the Export all (CSV) button downloads every saved week (day-by-day hours plus weekly totals and pay) as a spreadsheet you can keep, email or hand to payroll.
Does it handle overnight shifts and breaks?
Yes. If your clock-out is earlier than your clock-in, the tracker assumes the shift crossed midnight and adds the hours correctly. Enter unpaid break minutes per day and they are deducted from that day’s total.
